An ode to Dutch tap water
The Tap Water Carafe is a water carafe designed to promote the use of tap water. Dutch tap water is top quality drinking water and it is 2000 times cheaper than bottled water.
More importantly, it requires no environmentally polluting plastic bottles or transportation. The stopper of the carafe clearly refers to where the contents are tapped: from the tap, of course!

From sludge to tile
The Oer tile is an earthenware tile colored with iron sludge. Iron sludge is a natural residual material of the production process of tap water, which we obtain directly from the water production company in Eindhoven. We transform the iron sludge into a pigment by drying, grinding and sieving the material several times. This process results in the Oer tile which is available in series of tiles in different shades of pink.
Oer Tableware
Transforming local iron residues into porcelain tableware
Each product is made from porcelain clay colored with locally sourced iron oxide from either Fågelsjö or Eindhoven.

The identity of our drinking water
Drinking water in the Netherlands is extracted from various sources. That is why every drop of water that comes out of the tap is unique. You can say that water has its own identity. Lotte de Raadt works together with drinking water supplier Brabant Water on a drinking water passport for the various sources in Brabant.
